Bit of information..

Whoa new people in the group!

Just incase some of you don't quite know much about my topic of interest here's some links you can look at.

I'm sure most of you know the 'Saw' movie series so I don't really need to go into that much. Basically it is about a serial killer named Jigsaw who captures people he feels have taken their lives for granted and goes on to teach them their lesson and give them a chance to atone for their sins. Though the method of this lesson is quite gruesome and a tad bit unnecessary as he puts the victims in traps to test their will to live through physical and psychological torture.

A very gorey series though I'm taking Jigsaw from this movie and placing him in my cross-over fanfiction because of his ideals as he is nearly the same as his challenger in my fanfiction.

Here is a link to some information on the 'Saw' movies:

The other character in my cross-over is Light Yagami from a manga and anime series called 'Death Note'.

Light obtains a notebook that gives him the power to kill anyone he wants, any time he wants, however he wants just by writing the persons name and how they die in the notebook while also picturing their face in his mind. These actions earn him the name of 'Kira' to the public (Japanese pronounciation of the English word 'killer'). He uses this notebook in the series to serve justice to all the criminals in Japan by killing them off one by one.

Here is a link to some information on 'Death Note':

See what happens in my fanfiction when these two killers go head to head.

Lemme know what you think.

Oh and if you're a fan of anime or manga I strongly suggest watching/reading Death Note. Best series ever. Twists in every episode. But not the kinda cheesy crap you see in Home and Away....

Fan Fiction - "I don't hate you because you're fat, you're fat because I hate you"

Maddiie09: A short but good fan fic with the main focus on the 'queen bee' Regina George's death, written as a 1st person narrative. The reader is taken straight to the point so fast that there is no time to stop and feel sorry for Regina. This sure turns the tables placing her as the victim for once, which the writer may have intended, to give the 'bitch' a taste of the very pain she inflicts so well.

Elliot Pole: Definitely one interesting piece of text which explores the unmentioned life of 'Miss Africa' - Cady. She deals with everyday problems which plummet to new depth when issues around sexual orientation rise to the surface.  "She didn’t even know if you could change sexual orientations. And she had always been a heterosexual. Boys were her thing, not girls. She expected that it would always be this way."

mikagirlJap: The author expands on very common occurences that exist in all schools around the globe, where rumors spread like wildfire and highschool dramas seem like the end of the world. This fan fic starts off from Regina's tragic bus accident where her path of destruction is headed in Cady's direction.

LostWithoutHim: This fan fic is focussed on the new popular group - the 'Plastics' and shows the reader how those in the lower high school social structure make attempts at climbing up the social ladder in the hope of tasting a slice popularity as a result.

emilymadison: This I've got to say gave Mark Waters' Mean Girls a more appropriate ending. Instead of the walls being broken down between popular and unpopular pupils, these four picked up where they left off as if no dramas took place. Lets be realistic its high school, since when did the popular ones mix in with the geeks?
Tale of the Ugly Stepsister: Fanfic exploring the thoughts of Cinderella's youngest ugly stepsister. Haughty language used very fittingly throughout.

Beauty and the Beast: Classic fairytale gets modernised and brought into the 21st century, complete with internet dating.

The Fairest of Them All: Creative story which mashes two fairytales together, with Rapunzel somehow stealing the identity of Snow White.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarves: The True Story: The most appealing fairytale fanfic I've read so far. Portrays the seven dwarves as slumming drug users, and Snow White as a visiting film star who overdoses on hallucinogens and dies.

Seeing Red: Combines the characters of a number of different fairytales into 'Red's' journey through the woods. Explores some ideas about female sexuality and coming of age.

Three Little Pigs: Pretty basic story about the three little pigs that changes the traditional plotline.

Fan Fiction: Some Harry Potter magic

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5112573/1/Friend_Number_Three
An interesting development of the character Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series. It gives him an unexpected side to his previously evil persona. The piece also gives additional characters which did not exist in the books.

Provides a flashback, which does not readily happen in the original book. Gives an already existing scene and characters more depth.

A flash-forward this time. Addresses issues such as the "purity of blood," which is a major theme in the original books.

An additional plot line which is pretty much unrelated to the original plot. Interestingly written.

Basically re-writes one of the early chapters of the first book, including new characters and giving a new spin on existing ones.

Fan Fiction - This World Can Only Have One God - When Kira meets Jigsaw

Saw Ownback: An excellent fan fiction full of suspense and has a nice little twist at the end where a mother’s secret kills her own son. A great scenario created by the writer inspired from James Wan’s 'Saw'.

Jigsaw's Filosophy: A good fan fiction based solely on the Jigsaw’s philosophy: That people who take life for granted don’t deserve the right to live unless their sins are atoned.

Eaten Alive: My favourite 'Saw' fan fiction. The writer has tied in Jigsaw’s philosophy perfectly in with the victims past actions.

The Predicament: A gruesome and detailed story focused on the trap created by the writer. It goes in-depth with the pain and suffering endured by the victim. An excellent and descriptive story.

Hannibal vs. Jigsaw: A great crossover fan fiction spanning over several chapters telling the story of two villains: Hannibal Lecter and Jigsaw. The story is based on their race to kill each other for ultimate glory. This particular fan fiction will be a great template unto which i can create my very own ‘vs.’ Story between two master killers.

Death Note: The Devil And The Bringer: This fan fiction is a simple adaptation of the manga 'Death Note' created by Tsugumi Ohba. The story is a great introduction into what the manga is all about and how the Death Note has changed Light Yagami’s life.

If The World Was Black: A story created from the writer’s perspective of the mind and obsessive nature of Light.

Death Note And Detective Conan: Clash Of Minds: This crossover is between 'Death Note' and Gosho Aoyama’s manga 'Case Closed' (Also known as 'Detective Conan'). It delves into the minds of the investigators of the ‘Kira’ case as they try to figure out who the serial killer really is.

Justice: The writer goes in-depth into the philosophical side of Kira’s actions in this conversation between Light and L. Is it right to take the law into your own hands and rid the world of criminals by killing them off? Is that justice? Or is it ignorance?

Hello L: A crossover between 'Death Note' and 'Saw'. The writer gives us a humorous look into what would happen if L were to be a part of Jigsaw’s games.

I feel that there could be nothing better than a showdown between two of the greatest ever fictional killers. Both fighting for similar ideals but finding that there is no room for two 'Gods' in this world. Who will remain victorious in the end when they come face to face?

Any feedback welcome!

Fan-fiction - "Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore."

Myonetruevamp sends Victor Fleming's The Wizard of Oz through a time machine into the 21st century and gives a brief plotline of what Dorothy would have to do in order to return home - a Generation Y or Z retake.

Light Queen portrays a synopsis to a sequel of Victor Fleming's The Wizard of Oz where Dorothy tells of her last will and testament before she dies - a contrasting view where she utters to her granddaughter that she wished she could've returned to the land of Oz.

Syme gives an exaggerated narrative on what the Apple trees might have done to Dorothy if they punished her with excessive violence from Victor Fleming's The Wizard of Oz.

Fan-fiction - "It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."

Trash Box briefly describes Clarice's feelings, thoughts and surroundings as she visits Dr. Hannibal Lecter (who is in confinement), from Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs.

Ink Cat uses the word 'lamb' metaphorically (which also ties into the name of the film - Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs) in a multi-stanzaed poem to describe Clarice's anxious and panicky demeanour as she attempts to save the 'sacrificial lambs'.

Shifter1 subtly blends Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs and Charles Perrault's Little Red Riding Hood together into a fairytale, where Dr. Hannibal Lecter takes the role as the father telling the story, and Clarice taking the role of the 'little girl' listening - an indirect reflection of their roles in the film.

Screaming Lamb uses Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven as a backdrop/parody to Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs to tell the tale of Benjamin, his flute and his encounter with Dr. Hannibal Lecter.

Fan-fiction - "Don't be tellin' me about foot massages - I'm the foot f**kin' master."

Hans von Hozel short but sweetly dispels of any act of god, by ironically bringing the creator himself down upon Jules and Vincent from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction in a divine intervention of his own.

Michael Vega pays tribute with a non-chronological take of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction in an in-depth retake of an assortment of events between Jules and Vincent.

Brunette Inc. uses a minimal amount of Jule's and Ringo's dialogue from Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and adapts a back-story of Ringo's thoughts as an explanation for his words and actions.

Fanfiction -Bees' knees or intellectual bubble gum

In her little gem: The Obsessed General, Octavia Delitian shows us that a 'kind of entertaining' idea of portraying the domestic difficulties of some key characters from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time epic can get really boring by being childishly predictable.

Welcome

This is where you will post your fanfic for iWrite . . .
